AAW Impact Recap Show
Scene opens with Ray Carter, Jay Walker, Alyssa Morgan, and Lena Morales discussing the debut episode of AAW Impact at the roundtable.
Ray Carter: Welcome back to the AAW Impact Recap Show! I’m Ray Carter, joined by Jay Walker, Alyssa Morgan, and Lena Morales. The first episode of AAW Impact was nothing short of electric, and we’ve got a lot to break down. Let’s dive deeper into what happens on the first Impact show , starting with the Inaugural United States Championship Tournament. Jay, we saw some incredible performances from Thaddeus Duke, Just Cause, and Ken Davison all looked phenomenal in their matches.
Jay Walker: You’re right, Ray. Thaddeus Duke, man he put on a clinic against Latoya Hixx. The way he controlled the match, mixing his athleticism with precision, was something special. Thaddeus is one of those athletes who looks like he’s always one step ahead and it just shows how gifted he truly is and why he’s accomplished at such a young age, He’s not just fast, he’s smart, and that’s what makes him so dangerous going into the final.
Alyssa Morgan: That’s true Jay, and you can’t look pass Duke but Just Cause was equally impressive against Karly Ward. He’s got that intensity, but what really stood out to me was his ability to switch gears. One moment he’s brawling, and the next he’s locking in technical holds with finesse. Karly put up a fight, but Just Cause looked like a man on a mission. The way he’s going, it’s hard to bet against him.
Lena Morales: And then we have Ken Davison. Talk about a guy who adapts under pressure! He took on Koa Tautala with barely any time to prepare, and not only did he hold his own, he dominated. Ken’s experience and veteran instincts really shined through. He’s a grinder, and those types of guys are built for tournaments like this. The final on November 8th is shaping up to be an absolute war between these three.
Ray Carter: I couldn’t agree more, Lena. Thaddeus, Just Cause, and Ken all have such different styles, but that’s what makes this so exciting. You’ve got Thaddeus with his mix of High IQ and athleticism, Just Cause with that relentless aggression, and Ken Davison’s technical prowess and adaptability. It’s going to be a battle of who can impose their will and strategy. I don’t know about you all, but I can’t wait to see which of them walks out with that United States Championship.
Jay Walker: It’s one of the most anticipated matchups leading up to the PPV, no doubt. But before we move on, we need to talk about Koa Tautala. He was not happy about that last-minute opponent change. Originally, he was supposed to face Jay, but when Ken Davison was announced as his replacement, Koa completely lost it. He felt blindsided, and after the match, he threatened to spill blood saying it would be on Shaun Hart’s hands.
Alyssa Morgan: Koa’s frustration was clear, and he has every right to be upset. Facing someone like Ken Davison with little time to prepare is no easy task. But that threat? It sounded very real. Koa’s not the type of guy to make empty promises, so you have to wonder what he meant by "spilling blood." It’s got to have Shaun Hart thinking what this dangerous competitor could be planning to do next.
Lena Morales Koa’s a proud competitor, and when things don’t go his way, he’s quick to lash out. That threat, though, is a whole different level of intensity. It sounds like Koa’s ready to escalate things, and if he does, Shaun Hart may have to put security on high alert and I wonder will he be going after Ken or maybe spill someone’s else blood to send a message to Shaun, but Whatever Koa’s planning, it’s going to make the next few weeks very interesting and possibly dangerous.
Ray Carter: No question about it. Koa’s a ticking time bomb right now, and if there’s one thing we know about him, it’s that when he’s pushed, he’ll strike back hard. Shaun Hart’s going to need to keep his eyes open because Koa isn’t the type to let this go.
Jay Walker: It’s one of the most intriguing stories to follow But shifting gears for a moment, we have to talk about Nicky Douché and the situation with Anthony King. Nicky’s been running his mouth for weeks, and now Anthony King’s put a target on his back after costing him a spot in the final four of the Champions' Conquest Match after King took a chair to Avery Bitterman when he tried to come down the ramp and give Nicky an assist but King shut that down quickly and this is after King had already been eliminated from the match.
Alyssa Morgan: Yeah King mad hood on promise for when he said he would make sure Nicky would leave empty handed but Nicky’s always been vocal, but now the question is did he write a check his mouth can’t cash? Anthony King is no joke, and Nicky found that out the hard way when Anthony interfered and cost him that crucial spot but Nicky’s got to be fuming, and I have no doubt he’s plotting revenge, but how does he come back from this? Because we all know Nicky really wanted to win Championship gold but King shut that down and I just know Nicky is going to strike back sooner than later.
Ray Carter: Yeah, Nicky’s got his hands full, but if there’s one thing I know about him, it’s that he won’t back down. He’s got a fiery temper and a big ego, and when you combine those, it usually means things are about to get messy. Whether or not Nicky can come up with a way to outsmart Anthony remains to be seen, but he’s not going to take this lying down.
Jay Walker: Agreed, Ray. The feud between Nicky and Anthony is definitely one to keep an eye on. But now, let’s talk about Kyra ‘KJ’ Davison. She’s got a massive decision to make on the next episode of Impact. Who is she going to challenge at the Pay-Per-View? Will it be Misery for the Impact Championship, Mac Bane for the Intercontinental Championship, or Axel Shaw for the World Championship? What do you guys think?
Alyssa Morgan: That’s the million-dollar question, isn’t it? Personally, I think she’s leaning toward Misery. KJ and Misery were really going at it in that Championship Conquest match and KJ loves a good psychological challenge. Taking the Impact Championship from someone like Misery, who’s known for his brutal and mind-bending style, would make a huge statement.
Lena Morales: I see your point, Alyssa, but I think KJ might aim higher. Mac Bane for the Intercontinental Championship seems like the perfect fit. Now here me out because I know Mac and KJ go way back and have an unofficial alliance after what we see that match but she knows him, she knows Mac’s a workhorse, and KJ’s knows how to take him down , she knows him personally, she knows what makes him tick and I think she could be choosing to take advantage of that.
Ray Carter: Both of those are solid arguments, but Mac and KJ seem set at staying out of each others away but let me throw a curveball what if KJ goes after Axel Shaw and the World Championship? KJ’s always been about proving she’s the best, and what better way to do that than going after the top prize in AAW? Axel’s riding high after winning the World Title, but KJ might just have what it takes to knock him off that pedestal, and become the first woman to become AAW Worls Champion, now that’s an an achievement I can see her going for.
Jay Walker: You’ve all made great points, and honestly, KJ could go any direction and it’d make sense. She’s got the talent to take on anyone, but whoever she picks, it’s going to be a match for the ages. We’ll just have to wait until the next Impact to find out!
Ray Carter: Before we sign off, we have to give credit to the champions crowned in the Champions' Conquest match. What an incredible match that was, and it ended with three new champions: Misery as the Impact Champion, Mac Bane taking the Intercontinental Championship, and Axel Shaw becoming the World Champion. All three competitors fought their hearts out and looked incredibly impressive.
Jay Walker: Absolutely, Ray. Misery looked like a force to be reckoned with, delivering a performance that showed why he deserves that Impact Title. Mac Bane, as you mentioned earlier, is the definition of a workhorse, grinding it out to win the Intercontinental Championship. And then there’s Axel Shaw. What can you say? He proved he’s the top dog in AAW by winning the World Championship. His win solidified him as the man to beat.
Alyssa Morgan: And let’s not forget KJ’s performance in that match. Even though she didn’t walk away with a title, she was in the mix the whole time and showed that she’s just as capable of taking any of those championships. Whoever she challenges, they’re in for a fight. KJ is just waiting for the right moment to strike.
Lena Morales: That’s right. The Champions' Conquest match set the tone for what AAW Impact is all about competition at the highest level. Misery, Mac, and Axel all showed that they have what it takes to lead the company as champions, but with KJ lurking in the shadows, anything can happen. This is just the beginning.
Ray Carter: No doubt about it, Lena. AAW Impact is off to an incredible start, and with the crowning of new champions and KJ’s looming decision, things are only going to heat up from here. That’s all for tonight’s recap show. For Jay Walker, Alyssa Morgan, Lena Morales, and the entire AAW team, thanks for joining us. We’ll catch you in two weeks with more fallout and analysis from AAW Impact. Goodnight!
The screen fades to black as the AAW Impact logo appears, signaling the end of the recap show.
