PRE SHOW
The camera fades in, showing the bustling atmosphere outside the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. AAW fans, dressed in the gear of their favorite wrestlers, are chanting, waving signs, and brimming with energy. The setup mirrors the look of ESPN’s College GameDay with a desk positioned outside the arena, complete with the AAW logo, banners, and monitors displaying upcoming matches for Friday Night Impact. Seated at the desk are commentators Ray Carter and Jay Walker, along with interviewer Alyssa Morgan, all ready to hype up tonight’s event.
Ray Carter: Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to a special edition of AAW Friday Night Impact, coming to you live from the legendary Crypto.com Arena! We’re outside in the heart of LA, surrounded by some of the most passionate fans in the business!
Fans cheer behind him.
Ray Carter: And trust me, with tonight’s lineup, we’re in for a massive night!
Jay Walker: Ray, we’ve got huge matches lined up, but the big buzz right now? Just Cause’s game-changing announcement two weeks ago. He drops out of the United States tournament, decides he’s going after the top prize, the AAW World Championship, and then lays down a challenge to none other than Axel. But from what we’ve seen, it’s been radio silence from Axel and management.
Alyssa Morgan: Right, Jay. Just Cause is making it clear he wants the World title, and he isn’t holding back. Tonight, he’ll be in action, and you have to wonder what’s going through his mind after his challenge was seemingly ignored? Is he going to double down on his demand for a title shot?
Ray Carter: And that’s the thing, Alyssa. Just Cause isn’t the type to sit quietly and wait. He’s always been relentless, always pushing the envelope. I think we can expect fireworks from him tonight, especially if he feels slighted by the lack of response from Axel or the higher-ups.
Jay Walker: grinning And you know the fans are eating this up. It’s almost like the calm before the storm Just Cause wants his shot, and Axel’s silence might be fueling him even more. You have to wonder if management is trying to keep things under control or if they’re just as curious to see how this all unfolds tonight.
Alyssa Morgan: Either way, the spotlight is definitely on Just Cause. Fans are expecting a statement, and I think Just Cause is ready to make it in the most unforgettable way.
Jay Walker: Speaking of feuds, we’ve got to talk about this absolute grudge match brewing between Anthony King and Nicky Douché. Ever since day one, these two have been at each other’s throats, and it just keeps getting uglier.
Ray Carter: You can say that again, Jay! Just two weeks ago, right here on Friday Night Impact, King took things to a whole new level. Dressed in a mask and hoodie, blending right into the crowd, he ambushed Nicky at ringside. The surprise attack blindsided Douché, and those two brawled all the way through the fans, out of the arena pure chaos.
Alyssa Morgan: And let’s not forget, that ambush was perfectly timed. King’s attack wasn’t just about sending a message; it was strategic. He cost Nicky a real shot at becoming World Champion for the second time. You have to wonder just how much more Nicky can take before he snaps.
Jay Walker: And you have to think, with every attack, this rivalry only gets more personal. These two aren’t just fighting for titles anymore this is about pride, respect, maybe even revenge at this point. The question is, what’s next for them? Because it feels like they’re headed toward a breaking point, and when that happens, who knows what kind of chaos we’ll see.
Ray Carter: If you ask me, we’re looking at a feud that won’t end until one of them is left standing. These two seem determined to tear each other apart. And if King’s willing to go undercover just to take Nicky down, what’s he got planned next?
Alyssa Morgan: Now, shifting gears to something downright creepy we need to talk about what happened to Summer Page two weeks ago. I’m still getting chills thinking about it. After her match, right there in the middle of the arena hallway, she finds this eerie, old-fashioned jack-in-the-box. She goes to walk past it, and it actually spoke to her, asking if she wanted to be its friend.
Jay Walker: laughing nervously Look, I don’t know about you two, but if a haunted toy asks me to be friends, I’m running in the opposite direction! Summer did the same and got out of there, but what was that all about? Who’s behind this, and what’s their message?
Ray Carter: Exactly, Jay. That jack-in-the-box is no random prop it’s symbolic. In our business, these mind games usually point to someone lurking in the shadows. Whoever left that creepy toy clearly has Summer Page in their sights, and they’re getting into her head without even showing their face.
Alyssa Morgan: The question is, why Summer? And what’s the endgame here? This goes beyond the usual rivalries. Whoever’s behind this jack-in-the-box isn’t interested in a normal feud. It’s psychological, manipulative, and terrifying. Is it someone from her past, or are we looking at a completely new threat?
Jay Walker: All we know for sure is this Summer’s got a target on her back, and this mystery is only getting more twisted. Fans are buzzing, wondering who’s responsible, and we’ll all be on the edge of our seats to see what happens next.
Ray Carter: And we’d be remiss not to mention the champion of perseverance himself, Mac Bane. Two weeks ago, he once again successfully defended his Intercontinental Championship, keeping that title around his waist despite the odds. But it seems like our General Manager Shaun Hart wasn’t exactly thrilled to see Mac walk out with the gold still in hand.
Jay Walker: That’s putting it mildly, Ray! Shaun Hart’s frustration was written all over his face. He’s made it clear he wants Mac dethroned, and with each defense, you have to wonder just how much harder Shaun’s going to make things for him. Mac’s been overcoming every challenge so far, but the pressure from the top is only going to intensify.
Alyssa Morgan: Absolutely, and with Shaun pulling the strings, it’s anyone’s guess what’s next for Mac. But if there’s one thing we know about Mac Bane, it’s that he’s relentless. No matter what Hart throws his way, he just keeps pushing through. How long can he keep it up? Only time will tell.
Ray Carter: And speaking of champions, let’s talk about the AAW World Champion, Axel. Two weeks ago, he successfully retained his title in a triple threat against Koa and Nicky Douché, with Kyra as the special guest referee. But all eyes were on that stare-down between Axel and Kyra after the match building up to their showdown at Ascension.
Jay Walker: You could feel the tension in that stare-down, Ray. Axel vs. Kyra at Ascension is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated title matches we’ve seen in a long time. With Kyra stepping into the ring as both challenger and special guest referee, the stakes were already high and now they’re through the roof. Axel knows Kyra isn’t just any competitor; she’s one of the toughest around.
Alyssa Morgan: And let’s not forget, Kyra has the advantage of knowing Axel’s strengths and weaknesses better than most. She’s already inside his head, and with everything on the line at Ascension, this could be a turning point for the World Championship.
Ray Carter: Absolutely, Alyssa. This is going to be more than a title match its a battle of wills, a clash of two incredible competitors. And we all know that when it comes to Axel and Kyra, anything can happen.
Jay Walker: Alright, let’s get into tonight’s action! Kicking things off, we’ve got the Impact Championship on the line in our first match: Jack Taylor, the ultimate underdog, going up against the seemingly unstoppable force, Misery.
Ray Carter: Jack’s debut was nothing short of impressive, Jay. He’s earned this title shot through sheer grit and determination, but facing Misery is a whole new level of challenge. Since AAW opened, no one’s been able to take him down, and he’s established himself as an absolute powerhouse.
Alyssa Morgan: Exactly, Ray. Misery has been tearing through his opponents one by one, showing no mercy. But Jack’s got that underdog fire, and he doesn’t back down from a challenge. If anyone’s willing to put it all on the line against Misery, it’s him. Still, it’s a tough ask can Jack’s heart and resilience overcome Misery’s size and strength?
Jay Walker: That’s what makes this match so compelling. Jack might be smaller in stature, but he’s shown he’s got the courage to take risks and go all out. Fans are in for one intense showdown to kick off tonight’s Friday Night Impact.
Jay Walker: Alright, coming up next, we’ve got “Spoiled” Summer Page going head-to-head with Anthony King. Now, Summer’s coming off a tough loss to Mac Bane two weeks ago, and then there was that chilling encounter with the creepy jack-in-the-box. It feels like she’s carrying a lot into this match tonight.
Ray Carter: Right, Jay. Summer Page is definitely going through it. After her loss to Mac and that strange, unsettling jack-in-the-box moment, you have to wonder if it’s gotten in her head. She may come across as spoiled and entitled, but she’s got to be rattled by everything that’s happened lately. Tonight could be a chance for her to bounce back.
Alyssa Morgan: And on the other side, we have Anthony King. His ongoing feud with Nicky Douché has been explosive, with King even disguising himself in the crowd to ambush Nicky. But here he is tonight, stepping into the ring with Summer, and you have to wonder if his focus will be split. With so much bad blood between him and Nicky, does he see Summer as just another obstacle?
Jay Walker: Great point, Alyssa. King’s intensity could play to his advantage, but if he’s too focused on Nicky, Summer could capitalize. This match has all the makings of a turning point for both of them. For Summer, it’s a shot at redemption, and for King, it’s another step in his path of destruction.
Jay Walker: Alright, next up, we have a match that’s sure to draw some strong reactions: Just Cause vs. Ace Sky. Just Cause made waves recently by dropping out of the United States Tournament, making it crystal clear he’s only got his eyes on the World Title. Tonight, he’ll be looking to make a statement at the expense of fan-favorite Ace Sky.
Ray Carter: And Just Cause has made no secret of his intentions. He didn’t just leave the tournament; he outright challenged Axel for the World Title. Management may have ignored that challenge, but if Just Cause can dominate a fan favorite like Ace tonight, he’ll be hard to ignore for long.
Alyssa Morgan: And then there’s Ace Sky, who brings his own energy and high-flying style. He’s a crowd favorite for a reason. But he knows he’s stepping into the ring with someone who’s laser-focused and willing to bulldoze anyone in his way. Ace has got to keep his guard up and show Just Cause that the fans’ backing isn’t something to overlook.
Jay Walker: Exactly, Alyssa. Just Cause is looking to use this match to prove a point that he’s ready to be in the World Title conversation. But Ace Sky’s no pushover. He’s got the heart and the moves to put Just Cause to the test. If Just Cause underestimates him, he could be in for a surprise.
Jay Walker: Up next, we’ve got a highly anticipated triple threat match that will determine the number one contender for the Intercontinental Championship: John Blade vs. Latoya Hixx vs. Noah “The Nomad” Stroud. This one is sure to be action-packed!
Ray Carter: This match is going to be chaotic, Jay. John Blade has been on a roll lately and is looking to capitalize on that momentum. But with Latoya Hixx in the mix, he can’t afford to take his eye off the ball. Latoya has been impressive, showing she’s not just a competitor but a serious threat to anyone in the ring.
Alyssa Morgan: And let’s not forget about Noah Stroud! He may call himself “The Nomad,” but he’s made his mark so far. His athletic build and raw power gives him a unique edge, and he could easily sneak in for the win when everyone least expects it.
Jay Walker: Right! It’s a game of strategy and survival in a match like this. Each of these competitors has a reason to win, but it’s all about who can adapt and seize the moment. The stakes are high, and the winner gets a shot at the Intercontinental Championship there’s no room for mistakes.
Ray Carter: Exactly! It’s going to be a clash of styles and strategies. Will John Blade’s experience pay off, can Latoya Hixx outmaneuver her opponents, or will Noah Stroud’s power give him the edge? Fans are in for a treat with this one!
Jay Walker: Next up, we have a standard tag team match featuring the established duo of Thaddeus Duke and Ken Davison going up against the debuting tag team, Velocity Vibes, Flash Riley and Travis Page.
Ray Carter: It’s interesting, Jay, because while Ken and Thad are set to face off for the United States Championship, they’ll be teaming together tonight. There’s always that tension when you have two competitors who know they’ll be going against each other soon. Can they put their differences aside to work as a cohesive unit?
Alyssa Morgan: That’s the big question, Ray. Thaddeus and Ken are both talented wrestlers with their eyes on the prize, but if they can’t sync up tonight, they could be in trouble against a high-energy team like Velocity Vibes. Flash and Travis are looking to make a splash in their debut, and what better way to do it than by taking down a couple of veterans?
Jay Walker: Absolutely, Alyssa. Flash and Travis have shown great chemistry in the indie scene, and their high-flying style can catch any opponent off-guard. They might have the element of surprise on their side, especially since Thaddeus and Ken are more focused on their impending championship clash.
Ray Carter: It’ll be fascinating to see how this dynamic plays out. If Thaddeus and Ken can work together, they could dominate the match. But if there’s any miscommunication, Velocity Vibes might capitalize on that. This is a match where every second counts, and it could set the tone for both teams moving forward.
Jay Walker: Now we move on to an impactful showdown in our next match—Tracy Cage taking on TJ Alexander in a singles match that will determine the number one contender for the Impact Championship.
Ray Carter: This is a huge opportunity for both competitors, Jay. Tracy, hailing from Hollywood, is an actor turned wrestler who’s been undefeated so far. Her star power and in-ring skills have really made an impression in AAW, and she’s looking to prove she’s ready for that championship shot.
Alyssa Morgan: Absolutely, Ray. Tracy’s combination of charisma and athleticism has made her a fan favorite, but TJ Alexander is coming off a significant win against John Blade. He’s looking to capitalize on that momentum to secure a rematch against Misery at Ascension. To do that, he’ll need to get past Tracy tonight.
Jay Walker: And with both competitors having so much at stake, expect the intensity to be through the roof. Tracy’s undefeated streak adds pressure, but TJ’s drive for redemption could fuel him to push his limits.
Ray Carter: It’ll be interesting to see how their contrasting styles play out. Tracy’s a technical wrestler with a knack for strategy, while TJ is known for his speed and high-impact moves. If TJ can keep the pace quick, he may be able to wear Tracy down.
Alyssa Morgan: Exactly, and both know that a victory here not only advances them in the title picture but also solidifies their status as top contenders. The stakes couldn’t be higher!
Jay Walker: And now, folks, we have reached our main event of the evening s highly anticipated singles match featuring Kyra Davison going up against Koa “The Destroyer” Tautala, with none other than Axel Shaw serving as the special enforcer.
Ray Carter: This match is loaded with tension, Jay. Kyra is gearing up to face Axel for the World Championship at Ascension, but first, she must contend with Koa, who has made it clear he holds her responsible for how she officiated his title match against Axel. He believes her actions cost him the championship.
Alyssa Morgan: That adds a whole new layer of complexity to this match. Koa is not just any opponent he's a powerhouse who can inflict serious damage. Kyra will need to stay focused and not let Koa’s vendetta distract her from her goals.
Jay Walker: Exactly, Alyssa. And with Axel as the special enforcer, you have to wonder how he’ll impact the dynamics of the match. Will he be fair, or could he have his own agenda as he keeps a close eye on Kyra?
Ray Carter: Kyra has a lot riding on this match, and if she can come out victorious, it would send a strong message to Axel before their title clash. But Koa is a fierce competitor, and if he’s able to channel his frustration into aggression, it could be a long night for Kyra.
Alyssa Morgan: It’s going to be an electric atmosphere as the night culminates in this showdown. The stakes are high, and with everything leading up to Ascension, fans won’t want to miss a second of this match!
Jay Walker: That’s right, Alyssa! We’ve got a packed card tonight, and it all leads up to this explosive main event. Stay tuned as we’re about to see how everything unfolds right here on Friday Night Impact!
OPENING SEGMENT
The show kicks off with a bang as fireworks explode from the stage, lighting up the sold-out Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. The camera pans across the excited crowd, who are on their feet, chanting and waving signs, creating an electric atmosphere for AAW Friday Night Impact. The energy is contagious as the pyro fades, and we zoom in on the commentary team at ringside.
Ray Carter: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to AAW Friday Night Impact! We’re live from the sold-out Crypto.com Arena, and what a night we have in store for you!
Jay Walker: That’s right, Ray! I’m feeling the excitement in the air, and we’re just getting started! We’ve got action-packed matches, some huge announcements, and a special appearance from General Manager Shaun Hart to kick things off!
The camera cuts to the ring where General Manager Shaun Hart stands, dressed in a sharp, red blazer. As the mixed reaction of boos and cheers fills the arena, Shaun raises a hand, motioning for silence. He smirks, waiting a moment before speaking.
Shaun Hart: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to another thrilling night of AAW! Now, before we get to the action, I’ve got a few things to address starting with Just Cause dropping out of the U.S. Title match at Ascension.
The crowd reacts with some murmurs and scattered boos, but Shaun continues.
Shaun Hart: I respect the decision. AAW is about opportunity, and I hope Just Cause finds the one he’s looking for. But… that doesn’t mean the United States Championship match is off! Oh no, far from it.
The fans stir with anticipation as Shaun grins.
Shaun Hart: At Ascension, Ken Davison and Thaddeus Duke will still compete for the U.S. Title. And just like the other inaugural champions of AAW had to earn their titles, Ken and Thaddeus will do the same… in a LADDER MATCH!
The crowd erupts in cheers as Shaun grins smugly, soaking in the reaction.
Ray Carter: Wow! A ladder match for the U.S. Title at Ascension? That’s gonna be huge, Jay!
Jay Walker: I’m pumped for that one, Ray! Ken Davison and Thaddeus Duke are going to tear it down!
As Shaun tosses the microphone and begins to exit the ring, the lights suddenly cut out, plunging the arena into darkness. A chilling atmosphere falls over the crowd as a red, ominous light slowly illuminates the ramp. An eerie figure, cloaked in a crow-like costume, makes their way down the ramp, carrying an hourglass.
The unsettling figure approaches the ring and carefully places the hourglass on the apron, its sands ticking down slowly. The camera zooms in to reveal the word “Soon” etched on the glass.
Jay Walker: What the hell is this?!
Ray Carter: I’ve got no idea, Jay, but it’s creeping me out!
Just as mysteriously as it appeared, the red light fades, and the arena plunges back into darkness. When the lights come back on, the figure is gone, but the hourglass remains, ticking down as the crowd buzzes with confusion and curiosity.
Ray Carter: What does this mean? Who was that?
Jay Walker: I don’t know, but something big is coming, and it looks like it’s going to happen soon.
The camera lingers on the hourglass as the tension builds before the show cuts to its first commercial break.

Jack Taylor vs Misery
The crowd is buzzing with excitement as the lights dim for the night’s opening match.
The opening chords of “Go the Distance” echo through the arena, and the fans in Los Angeles erupt with cheers. Jack Taylor bursts through the curtain, wearing his red-and-white gear with “Underdog” boldly emblazoned across his jacket. His fiery expression and determined gaze say it all he’s ready for the fight of his life. He sprints down the ramp, high-fiving fans on his way before sliding into the ring with energy and excitement.
Jazmine Sparks: “Introducing first, the challenger… from Georgia, standing 5’2” and weighing in at 120 pounds… JAAACK ‘THE UNDERDOG’ TAYLOOR!”
Jack hops onto the turnbuckle, throwing up his arms as the crowd gives him a loud pop. He scans the audience, nodding in appreciation before shifting his focus to the stage, awaiting the champion.
The arena goes black as “Debonaire” by Dope hits the sound system. The atmosphere shifts dramatically as the boos rain down. Misery, with his imposing 295-pound frame, steps out of the shadows, the AAW Impact Championship slung over his shoulder. His black leather gear and slicked-back hair give him a menacing presence as he slowly walks to the ring, his eyes locked on Jack Taylor with cold intensity.
Jazmine Sparks: “And his opponent… from the Pits of Despair, weighing in at 295 pounds… he is the reigning and defending AAW Impact Champion… MIIISSERY!”
Misery raises the Impact Championship high above his head as the crowd continues to jeer. He steps into the ring, towering over Jack, handing the title to the referee as the tension rises.
*BELL RINGS*
The bell rings, and the size difference is immediately apparent as the 5’2” Jack Taylor stares up at the 295-pound Misery. Jack keeps his distance, bouncing on his feet, while Misery remains still, a look of icy confidence on his face.
Ray Carter: Jack Taylor, the ultimate underdog, but he’s got the heart and the speed!
Jay Walker: But let’s not forget what Misery did to TJ Alexander four weeks ago. He’s a destructive force, and he thrives on dominating his opponents.
Jack moves in cautiously, looking for an opening with quick jabs and kicks, but Misery easily shrugs them off. The two finally lock up, but Misery uses his power to hurl Jack across the ring like a ragdoll. Jack hits the mat hard, already feeling the effects of Misery’s raw strength. Jack quickly scrambles to his feet, shaking off the impact. He rushes at Misery again, trying to use his speed to his advantage, but Misery catches him mid-run and slams him down with a huge Samoan Drop. Jack writhes in pain, the wind knocked out of him. Misery doesn’t let up, dragging Jack to his feet and nailing him with stiffer chops to the chest that echo throughout the arena. Jack’s chest turns red as the chops continue to rain down. Misery grabs Jack and throws him into the corner, charging in with a massive running splash that causes Jack to slump down.
Jay Walker: “Misery is just toying with him! This could be a long night for Jack Taylor if he doesn’t turn this around.”
Jack, ever resilient, fights back with a burst of energy, using the ropes to pull himself up. As Misery charges again, Jack ducks and rolls under, bouncing off the ropes to hit a springboard forearm that staggers the big man slightly. Jack quickly follows up with a standing hurricanrana, flipping Misery over and sending him to the mat. The crowd comes alive as Jack starts to build some momentum, running the ropes and landing a running bulldog to keep the champion off balance. However, Misery rolls to the outside, taking a moment to regain his composure. Jack sees an opportunity and, with the crowd chanting his name, sprints toward the ropes, launching himself over the top with a suicide dive only to be caught mid-air by Misery.
Ray Carter: “OH NO! Jack got caught!”
With terrifying strength, Misery lifts Jack and slams him back-first into the ring apron before tossing him like a ragdoll onto the floor. Misery picks up Jack’s limp body and tosses him back into the ring, following slowly behind, ready to finish what he started. He lifts Jack for a devastating running sitout powerbomb, planting him hard in the center of the ring. The referee checks on Jack as Misery stands over him, grinning with a sick pleasure.
Jay Walker: “It’s looking grim for Jack Taylor right now. Misery is in complete control.
Misery drags Jack Taylor to his feet once again, his face showing no emotion, only a cold, calculated focus. He hoists Jack onto his shoulder and drives him down with a brutal scoop powerslam, rattling the ring upon impact. The crowd gasps as Jack clutches his back in pain, struggling to even move.
Ray Carter: This is hard to watch. Misery is punishing Jack in ways I haven’t seen in a long time. He’s not just trying to win—he’s trying to break him.
Jay Walker: You have to wonder how much more Jack can take. He’s resilient, but Misery is merciless.
Misery stalks around Jack, savoring every moment of the destruction he’s causing. He lifts Jack up again, positioning him for a chokebomb. Misery grabs Jack by the throat, lifting him high into the air and slamming him down with vicious force. Jack arches his back in agony as the crowd looks on, pleading for Jack to somehow escape this nightmare. Misery, showing a rare smirk, bends down and grips Jack’s arm, pulling him up only to immediately lock him into a brutal sleeper hold. Misery wraps his thick, muscular arm around Jack’s neck, squeezing tightly. Jack’s face turns red as he struggles to breathe, his legs kicking wildly, trying to find a way out.
Misery tightens his grip, yanking Jack to the mat as he wraps his massive legs around Jack’s waist, fully locking in the hold. Jack’s movements become slower as the oxygen gets cut off, but he refuses to quit. The referee drops to his knees, checking on Jack, but Jack shakes his head violently, signaling that he’s not done. Misery growls, visibly frustrated as he applies even more pressure. Jack’s face is beet red now, his arms flailing as he desperately tries to claw his way out of the hold. The fans rally behind him, chanting his name in unison.
Crowd: “LET’S GO JACK! LET’S GO JACK!”
Jack’s hand hovers over the mat, but he digs deep, balling his fist and refusing to let it drop. Misery’s eyes widen in disbelief, as Jack starts to power through the pain, shifting his body just enough to create a small opening. He somehow manages to get a foot onto the bottom rope.
Jay Walker: “HE MADE IT TO THE ROPES! I don’t know how, but Jack Taylor is still in this fight!”
The referee quickly calls for the break, but Misery refuses to release the hold immediately, holding it for an extra few seconds to inflict more damage before finally letting go. Jack gasps for air, his body limp on the mat, but the crowd continues to roar in support, sensing that their underdog hero still has some fight left.
Ray Carter: Misery’s dominance continues, but Jack Taylor just won’t give up. This kid has heart like no other.
Misery glares at the referee, annoyed that he had to break the hold, before turning his attention back to Jack. He’s not done. He wants to finish Jack off for good.
The pain is unimaginable, but Jack Taylor is still breathing, still fighting.
Misery stalks Jack once more, his eyes filled with cold menace as he pulls Jack to his feet. He delivers a stiff chop to Jack’s chest, the sound echoing through the Crypto.com Arena. Jack stumbles backward, clutching his chest, but as Misery moves in for another brutal blow, Jack ducks under his arm, managing to avoid the strike. The crowd roars as Jack finds an opening and counters with a quick snap suplex, using his speed to flip Misery onto the mat. It barely fazes the big man, but Jack is starting to show some life.
Ray Carter: Jack’s fighting back! This crowd is getting behind him!
Jay Walker: He’s moving faster, trying to chop down the big man one move at a time. But is it enough?
Misery rises to his feet, irritated by Jack’s sudden offense, and charges at him like a freight train. Jack, though battered and bruised, sidesteps, using Misery’s momentum against him. He fires off a springboard forearm from the ropes, catching Misery off guard and sending him stumbling backward for the first time. The crowd explodes, feeling the shift in momentum as Jack’s speed begins to trouble the powerful champion.
Crowd: “JACK! JACK! JACK!”
Feeding off the energy, Jack follows up with a standing hurricanrana, wrapping his legs around Misery’s head and flipping him to the mat. Misery rolls through but looks disoriented, clearly uncomfortable with Jack’s rapid pace. Misery rises again, shaking off the cobwebs, but Jack is relentless. He charges at Misery, using his quickness to hit a tilt-a-whirl DDT, spiking Misery’s head into the mat. The fans are on their feet now, fully behind Jack’s incredible comeback. Jack, seeing his chance, backs into the corner, motioning for Misery to stand. The champion groggily gets to his feet, and as he charges toward Jack, the underdog quickly drops, pulling down the top rope. Misery’s own momentum sends him tumbling over the top and crashing to the outside.
Jay Walker: Misery’s out of the ring! Jack’s got him where he wants him!
Misery staggers, trying to regain his composure as Jack eyes his opportunity. With the fans behind him, Jack takes off, sprinting across the ring and launching himself through the ropes with a suicide dive, crashing into Misery and sending him flying back-first into the barricade! The impact rattles the entire ringside area as the crowd goes wild.
Ray Carter: SUICIDE DIVE! Jack just leveled Misery, and this arena is unglued!”l
Jack wastes no time. He scrambles to his feet, breathing hard but determined. As Misery slowly tries to recover, using the barricade for support, Jack climbs onto the apron, measuring his opponent. With precision, Jack leaps off the apron, wrapping his arm around Misery’s neck and planting him into the floor with a devastating tornado DDT! Misery’s head bounces off the floor, leaving him dazed.
Jay Walker: “What a tornado DDT off the apron! Misery is in a world of trouble now!”
Ray Carter: “For the first time in this match, Misery looks vulnerable! Jack Taylor has turned the tide!”
The fans are in a frenzy, chanting Jack’s name as he stands over Misery on the outside. Jack’s heart and resilience are on full display, and the tide has shifted as he finally has the monstrous Misery reeling. With Misery still reeling from the tornado DDT, Jack Taylor decides to keep the pressure on. He pulls Misery to his feet and throws him toward the barricade, charging in with a running forearm smash, driving Misery’s back against the steel barrier. Jack, fueled by the crowd’s energy, leaps onto the barricade and goes for a springboard crossbody onto Misery, but the champion catches him in mid-air!
Ray Carter: “Oh no, Jack’s in trouble now!”
Misery, showing off his immense strength, holds Jack high in the air before driving him spine-first into the steel steps with a sickening thud. The fans gasp as Jack cries out in pain, his back hitting the unforgiving steel.
Jay Walker: “Good God! Did you hear that impact? Jack might be broken in half!”
Misery, now furious, drags Jack’s limp body back into the ring. The champion’s face is twisted with anger as he looks down at his smaller opponent, disgusted that Jack even got in some offense. Misery picks Jack up and whips him into the corner with brutal force. Jack slumps against the turnbuckles, barely able to stand. Misery backs up, charging toward Jack with a running splash in the corner, crushing him under his 295-pound frame. Jack crumples to the mat, but Misery isn’t done. He hoists Jack up by his throat, dragging him back to his feet before lifting him into the air and driving him into the turnbuckles with a vicious bucklebomb. Jack’s body bounces off the turnbuckles as he collapses in a heap in the center of the ring. Misery immediately goes for the pin, pressing all his weight on Jack’s chest.
One…
Two…
Thr—
At the last possible second, Jack kicks out! The fans erupt, but Misery sits up in disbelief.
Ray Carter: “He kicked out! Jack Taylor’s still in this match!”
Jay Walker: “I don’t know how, but Jack’s got heart. Misery’s not going to like this!”
Furious, Misery leaps to his feet, turning to the referee and getting right in his face. He screams that the count was slow, his frustration boiling over as he threatens the official. The crowd boos, but Misery is too consumed by rage to care. As he argues with the referee, Jack uses the moment to pull himself to his feet, seizing the opportunity. With Misery distracted, Jack launches a dropkick right into the champion’s face! The dropkick staggers Misery, but he doesn’t go down. He turns to retaliate with a clothesline, but Jack ducks under it and counters with a perfectly-timed Pele kick, catching Misery right on the top of the head! The crowd is on their feet as Jack follows up with a thunderous superkick, staggering Misery even further. Jack knows he has to act quickly and sprints to the ropes, leaping in the air and hitting a devastating Canadian Destroyer, flipping Misery head over heels!
Jay Walker: “What a move! Jack Taylor just hit the Canadian Destroyer!”
The crowd is roaring as Jack scrambles to the top turnbuckle, looking to finish the job. He steadies himself, taking a deep breath before leaping into the air with a beautiful Swanton Bomb! He crashes down on Misery and immediately hooks both legs, the fans counting along with the referee.

Ray Carter: “This is it!
But somehow, someway, Misery kicks out right before the three-count! The arena explodes in disbelief, and Jack sits in the center of the ring, holding his head in his hands, shocked that it wasn’t enough to put the champion away.
Jay Walker: “How in the world did Misery kick out of that? Jack Taylor was inches away from becoming the Impact Champion!”
Jack stands up, unsure of what to do next, but before he can plan his next move, Misery sits up in the middle of the ring, his eyes burning with anger. Jack looks on in disbelief as Misery rises to his feet like a man possessed. Misery charges at Jack and locks him in a devastating chokehold, lifting him off the mat, squeezing the life out of the underdog. Jack flails in Misery’s grasp, but the champion shows no mercy. He quickly transitions, tossing Jack overhead with a German suplex, sending him crashing hard into the mat. Misery stalks toward the corner, setting himself up for the final blow. He crouches, waiting for Jack to stand. As Jack slowly rises to his feet, Misery explodes out of the corner with his finisher, the Cruor Spear, driving all 295 pounds into Jack’s midsection. Misery hooks the leg, and the referee counts.

Jazmine Sparks: “Here is your winner, and STILL the AAW Impact Champion… MIIISERY!”
Misery stands tall in the ring, his championship raised high, as Jack lies motionless on the mat, having given everything but ultimately falling short. The crowd gives Jack a standing ovation for his valiant effort, but tonight, Misery’s dominance proves too much.
SEGMENT
Scene opens inside the sleek office of AAW General Manager Shaun Hart. Shaun is seated behind his mahogany desk, clearly agitated, tapping his fingers on the desk. Across from him stands Jake Stevens, the Head of Security, arms crossed and wearing a focused expression. A few wrestling posters and a championship belt display hang on the walls, but all attention is on the growing tension in the room.
Shaun Hart: Jake, I don’t like surprises, especially ones like what just happened out there. The show just opened, and somebody leaves a damn hourglass in the ring with me. And don’t forget those creepy jacks-in-the-boxes showing up in the back. This isn’t some harmless prank; someone’s trying to mess with AAW.
Jake Stevens: I saw what happened. This is definitely something we need to shut down now. I’ll tighten security around the arena and start looking into who had access before the show started. We’ll find out who’s behind this.
Shaun Hart: I want answers, Jake. No more surprises. Whoever is behind this is playing games, and I don’t have time for games. This needs to stop.
Jake Stevens: I’ll get to the bottom of it. If someone’s trying to send a message, we’ll make sure they regret it.
Shaun leans back in his chair, still clearly agitated but trusting Jake to handle it.
Shaun Hart; Good. Keep me updated, and make sure they know, I don’t take kindly to being messed with.
The scene fades as Jake gives a nod and exits the office, ready to handle the mysterious situation brewing in AAW.

Summer walks down the ramp with a self-assured smile, gliding her way to the ring. She motions for the referee to hold the ropes open for her, stepping through with elegance before climbing the middle turnbuckle to soak in the crowd’s reaction.
Ray Carter: Summer Page always with that air of confidence, and tonight, she looks ready to put on a wrestling clinic. You know she’s got the technical chops to go toe-to-toe with anyone.
Jay Walker: That’s right, Ray. But don’t count out Anthony King. He’s got the toughness, and when he brings that street-smart mentality, he’s dangerous inside that ring.
The crowd’s attention shifts as the sound of “Welcome 2 Detroit” by Trick Trick ft. Eminem blares through the speakers. The audience roars as Anthony King makes his way down the ramp, looking focused and fired up, his street-tough demeanor on full display.
Jazmine Sparks: And her opponent, from Detroit, Michigan, weighing in at 235 pounds… Anthony King!
King steps onto the stage, his eyes locked on the ring as he pounds his fist into his hand, signaling that he’s ready for a fight. He marches down the ramp, sliding under the bottom rope and hopping to his feet, soaking in the cheers from the fans.
Jay Walker: King is no stranger to tough situations. He grew up on the streets of Detroit, and tonight, he’s looking to bring that grit into the ring against the technically savvy Summer Page.
Ray Carter: She might be spoiled, but she’s also smart, Jay. This match could come down to who makes the first mistake.
The bell rings, and both competitors circle each other, sizing up the opposition. Summer tries to lock up, but King counters with a quick back chop to her chest, sending her staggering backward.
Ray Carter: That knife-edge chop rattled Summer right out of the gate!
King follows up with a wrist-clutch elbow, keeping Summer on the defensive, but she ducks under and catches King with a sharp tilt-a-whirl into a Russian leg sweep, taking him down!
Jay Walker: Summer’s showing off her technical prowess early, but King’s got that raw power that can change the tide any second.
King quickly gets back to his feet, and the two exchange blows. The match begins to go back and forth, with neither gaining a clear advantage. King hits a stiff clothesline, but Summer bounces back with a slingshot suplex, displaying her technical edge.
Ray Carter: Summer’s wrestling circles around King right now, using her speed and technique to stay one step ahead.
But King powers out of a headlock and starts to gain momentum. He delivers a series of knife-edge chops followed by a capture suplex, slamming Summer hard into the mat. He takes control, dominating her with powerful strikes and suplexes.
Jay Walker: Here comes King, turning up the heat with those powerful suplexes! Summer’s in trouble.”
King lines Summer up for a big move, but he makes a critical mistake he charges for a big boot, but Summer dodges and counters with a springboard DDT! She quickly follows up with a high knee and a snap German suplex, leaving King dazed.
Ray Carter: Just like that, Summer is back in control! She’s outwrestling him now, Jay. This is her chance to finish the job.
Summer starts to dominate, working over King with precision strikes and suplexes. She looks to be closing in on a victory until she attempts a springboard DDT, but King catches her mid-air and plants her with a Fisherman Suplex!
Jay Walker: What a reversal! King’s not done yet!
Just as King begins to take over, Avery Bitterman the right-hand man of Nicky Douché comes down the ramp, causing a stir at ringside.
Ray Carter: Wait a minute, what’s Avery doing here? He’s got no business in this match!
King turns his attention to Avery, distracted by the commotion. Summer takes full advantage, sneaking up behind King. As he turns back around, Summer hits her finisher the “Pure Perfection” Perfect Plex! She hooks the leg.
Jay Walker:Pure Perfection! Summer’s got him!
Ray Carter: That distraction from Nicky was all she needed!

Summer rolls out of the ring, celebrating her victory as she walks up the ramp. As she passes Avery Bitterman, they exchange an uncertain look before she continues her exit.
Jay Walker: I don't know if Summer appreciated that assist or not.
As Anthony King begins to get to his feet, Avery Bitterman slides into the ring behind him, clubbing him from behind with a forearm smash! King staggers, trying to regain his footing, but Avery keeps on the attack.
Ray Carter: Avery Bitterman is picking the bones of Anthony King here!
Jay Walker: And here comes Nicky Douché, right on cue!
With King still groggy, Nicky joins Avery in the ring, brass knuckles gleaming in his hand. Avery holds King in place as Nicky lays into him with repeated punches, each blow with the brass knuckles opening up King’s forehead. Blood begins to pour as the crowd boos heavily.
Ray Carter: This is sick! They’re just beating the life out of King!
Nicky grabs a microphone, kneels down next to King, and slaps him in the face.
Nicky Douché: Listen up, King! You’ve cost me twice now. Twice you stood in the way of me becoming AAW World Champion, and I swear I’m not letting it happen a third time. So at Ascension… it’s you and me… in a street fight!”
The fans explode at the announcement, cheering for the match. King, bloodied but defiant, manages to lift his head.
Anthony King: It’s on, bitch…
Before King can say anything more, Nicky delivers one final blow with the brass knuckles, knocking him out cold. Nicky and Avery stand over King’s broken body as the crowd showers them with boos.
Jay Walker: Anthony King just accepted the challenge, but look at him, he’s in no shape to fight right now!
Ray Carter: This street fight at Ascension is going to be personal. Nicky Douché just sent a brutal message tonight.

Intercontinental Number One Contender
Triple Threat Match
John Blade vs Latoya Hixx vs Noah "The Nomad" Stroud
The Crypto.com Arena is electric with anticipation as the crowd roars for the highly anticipated triple threat match to determine the number one contender for the AAW Intercontinental Championship. Fans are on their feet, holding signs and chanting the names of their favorite competitors. Ray Carter and Jay Walker are at ringside, ready to call the action.
Jay Walker: “Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to Friday Night Impact! We are live from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, and we’ve got one heck of a triple threat match coming up. The winner will become the number one contender for the Intercontinental Championship currently held by Mac Bane!”
Ray Carter: “And speaking of Mac Bane, he’s joining us here on commentary tonight to scout out his future challenger. Mac, welcome!”
Mac Bane: “Thanks for having me, guys. I’m excited to see who’s gonna step up and earn the right to face me for this title. All three of these competitors bring something unique to the table.”
Jay Walker: “No doubt about that. John Blade is a powerhouse brawler, Noah ‘The Nomad’ Stroud is another hard-hitting brawler with a bit of an unorthodox style, and Latoya Hixx brings that high-flying, technical flair. It’s going to be a clash of styles tonight!”
*BELL RINGS*
The bell rings, and all three competitors circle each other, sizing one another up. Latoya Hixx, the quickest of the three, strikes first, darting in and hitting John Blade with a series of rapid kicks to the legs. Blade stumbles back, but before he can retaliate, Noah Stroud charges in with a big shoulder tackle, sending Blade into the corner. Stroud turns his attention to Latoya, swinging wildly, but she ducks under his arm and bounces off the ropes. As she comes flying back, she hits a springboard dropkick, sending Stroud crashing to the mat! Latoya keeps up the pressure, using her speed to her advantage. She hits the ropes again, looking to capitalize on Stroud being down, but John Blade intercepts her with a devastating clothesline, flipping her inside out!
Mac Bane: “That’s the kind of power John Blade is known for. When he hits you, you stay down.
John Blade seizes control, dragging Noah Stroud to his feet and whipping him into the corner with authority. Stroud crashes hard, and Blade follows up with a running splash, crushing Stroud against the turnbuckles. The ring shakes from the impact as Stroud stumbles out of the corner, only to be scooped up by Blade for a huge belly-to-belly suplex! Blade isn’t done. He turns his attention to Latoya, who’s slowly getting to her feet. He grabs her by the arm and whips her into the ropes, looking for another big clothesline. But Latoya, using her agility, ducks under the clothesline and hits the opposite ropes, rebounding back with a tilt-a-whirl headscissors that sends Blade sprawling across the ring!
Ray Carter: “Latoya Hixx with the counter! She’s using that speed and agility to stay in this match.”
Mac Bane: “That’s smart wrestling. You can’t go toe-to-toe with a guy like John Blade in terms of power, so Latoya’s gotta keep moving, keep him off balance.”
Latoya capitalizes on the momentum shift, hitting a standing moonsault on Blade and hooking the leg for a pin attempt.
One…
two…
Noah Stroud breaks up the pin with a stiff kick to Latoya’s back, pulling her off of Blade. Stroud, looking furious, grabs Latoya and lifts her up, hoisting her onto his shoulders. He looks to be setting her up for a powerbomb, but Latoya counters mid-air, spinning around and catching Stroud with a hurricanrana that sends him headfirst into the turnbuckle! Latoya quickly climbs the ropes, positioning herself on the top turnbuckle. The crowd rises to their feet, anticipating something big as she steadies herself. With perfect precision, she leaps off the top with a shooting star press aimed at Noah Stroud, but Stroud rolls out of the way at the last second, leaving Latoya to crash and burn on the canvas!
Ray Carter: “Oh no! Nobody home for Latoya! That could be a game-changer!”
Noah Stroud, seething with frustration, gets to his feet and stalks Latoya. He grabs her by the hair and drags her to her feet before tossing her into the corner like a ragdoll. He starts laying into her with brutal forearm shots, each one landing with a sickening thud.
Mac Bane: This is what I like about Noah Stroud. He’s got that mean streak. When he gets going, he’s relentless.
Stroud pulls Latoya out of the corner and lifts her up in a gorilla press, showing off his raw strength. He holds her high above his head before throwing her down hard onto the mat. Latoya winces in pain, clutching her back as she writhes on the canvas. Before Stroud can go for a cover, John Blade is back in the action, charging at Stroud with a big boot that connects squarely with his face, sending Stroud crashing to the mat. Blade, breathing heavily, looks out at the crowd, feeding off their energy. John Blade, now in full control, grabs Noah Stroud and pulls him up, positioning him for a suplex. Blade lifts him high into the air, holding him for a few seconds before slamming him down with authority. The crowd pops for Blade’s display of power. Blade turns his attention to Latoya, who is still recovering from the gorilla press slam. He walks over and grabs her by the arm, whipping her into the corner. Blade charges at her, looking for a corner splash, but Latoya moves out of the way just in time, and Blade crashes chest-first into the turnbuckles! As Blade stumbles back, Latoya quickly climbs the ropes again, this time hitting a diving crossbody that takes Blade down! She hooks the leg for another pin attempt.

Blade powers out, throwing Latoya off him with ease. The match reaches a fever pitch as all three competitors begin to rise, clearly exhausted but refusing to give in. Latoya, Blade, and Stroud each find their way to their feet, and the tension builds as they all stare each other down in the center of the ring. The crowd is buzzing with anticipation.
Mac Bane: “This is what it’s all about three warriors fighting for a chance at my title. But who’s got the guts to push through the pain?
John Blade strikes first, throwing a heavy punch at Noah Stroud. Stroud responds with a haymaker of his own, and the two begin trading blows in the center of the ring. Latoya, watching from the side, takes advantage of the distraction and hits the ropes, launching herself at both men with a double dropkick that sends them crashing to the mat! Latoya, adrenaline pumping, quickly rolls to her feet. She looks at the downed bodies of Blade and Stroud and knows this is her moment. She climbs the turnbuckle once again, her body aching but her determination unbroken. The crowd rises with her, sensing something big is coming. Latoya leaps off the top rope, aiming for another high-flying maneuver, but at the last second, John Blade rolls out of the way, leaving Latoya to crash into the canvas once more. The impact leaves her sprawled out in the center of the ring. Before Blade can capitalize, Noah Stroud, somehow finding the strength, barrels into Blade with a massive lariat that turns him inside out! Both men collapse in a heap, and the crowd erupts as all three competitors are down, their bodies spent from the grueling match.
Ray Carter: “All three of them are down! What an unbelievable match!”
Mac Bane: “This is what you want to see from your challengers heart, resilience, and the will to fight through anything. Whoever gets up first might be walking away with the number one contender spot.”
The camera zooms in on each competitor, all three lying motionless in the ring,
The Crypto.com Arena is buzzing with excitement as the match reaches its crescendo. All three competitors are down, struggling to their feet after an exhausting battle. The crowd is on their feet, chanting for their favorite, unsure of who will rise victorious. John Blade, the powerhouse brawler, begins to stir first. Latoya Hixx and Noah Stroud are both on their knees, desperately trying to shake off the punishment they’ve endured. John Blade, breathing heavily, slowly rises to his feet. He looks at his two opponents with determination in his eyes. The crowd roars as he pulls Latoya Hixx to her feet first, gripping her tightly and hoisting her up onto his shoulders in a fireman’s carry position.
Ray Carter: John Blade has Latoya up! We know what’s coming next!
With a burst of strength, John Blade spins around and drops Latoya with a Death Valley Drop (Attitude Adjustment), slamming her hard into the canvas. The impact echoes throughout the arena as Latoya lies motionless on the mat. But Blade isn’t done. He immediately turns his attention to Noah Stroud, who is now stumbling to his feet. Blade grabs Stroud and quickly pulls him into position, lifting him onto his shoulders in the same fireman’s carry. The crowd explodes in anticipation as Blade turns to the center of the ring.
Jay Walker: “No way! John Blade’s going for the Death Valley Drop again, this time on Noah Stroud!”
With a massive show of power, Blade delivers another Death Valley Drop, slamming Stroud down next to Latoya. Both of his opponents are now laid out in the middle of the ring, the crowd absolutely deafening in their cheers.
Ray Carter: “He just hit both of them with the Death Valley Drop! This has to be it!
John Blade, sensing victory, collapses onto both Latoya Hixx and Noah Stroud, draping his arms across their bodies as the referee drops to the mat to count the pin.

Jay Walker: “What an incredible performance by John Blade! He just took out both Latoya Hixx and Noah Stroud to earn his shot at the Intercontinental Championship!”
As the celebration continues, Mac Bane slowly stands up from his seat at the commentary table. The reigning Intercontinental Champion, wearing his signature cowboy hat, steps forward, approaching the ring. The crowd buzzes with anticipation as Blade and Bane lock eyes.

Jay Walker: “Mac Bane has spoken! John Blade vs. Mac Bane for the Intercontinental Championship at Ascension! What a showdown that’s going to be!”
Ray Carter: “I can’t wait! John Blade earned this moment tonight, but Mac Bane is no ordinary champion. Blade’s got a mountain to climb!”
The show fades out with John Blade standing tall in the ring, his eyes locked on the departing champion, ready for the next chapter of his journey to the Intercontinental Championship.
SEGMENT
After his tense staredown with John Blade, Mac Bane walks down the dimly lit backstage hallway with a confident swagger. The Intercontinental Championship gleams over his shoulder as he smirks, knowing the number one contender is now set in stone. His boots click against the concrete floor as the camera follows him closely. Suddenly, General Manager Shaun Hart steps into view. Dressed in an immaculate suit with his signature sunglasses, Shaun leans casually against the wall, seemingly waiting for Mac. His posture is relaxed, but his presence commands attention. He looks Mac up and down, eyeing the Intercontinental Title.
Shaun Hart: Well, well, well… quite the match out there tonight, Mac.
Mac Bane stops in his tracks, a slight smirk crossing his face as he turns to face the GM.
Mac Bane: Yeah, if that’s the best you’ve got to offer me as competition, Shaun…
Mac glances at his Intercontinental Championship, patting the gold plate as he continues.
Mac Bane: …then you better get comfortable watching me hold this title for a very long time.
He gives Shaun a knowing grin, that quiet confidence radiating from him. The GM raises an eyebrow, but says nothing, simply offering a slight chuckle. Mac smirks back, the tension thick as they stand face-to-face for a beat. Without waiting for a response, Mac tips his cowboy hat slightly and walks off, his stride as sure as ever. The camera stays focused on Shaun Hart, who watches Mac disappear down the hall. After a few moments, a sly smile creeps onto the GM’s face, as if he’s already thinking of his next move.
Shaun Hart: (quietly to himself) We’ll see about that, Mac.
The scene fades as the tension between the champion and the GM sets the stage.

Match Five
Standard Tag Team Match
Thaddeus Duke and Ken Davison vs (Velocity Vibes) Flash Riley and Travis Page.
Ray Carter: “Welcome back to Friday Night Impact! The action continues as we get set for our fifth match of the night. And it’s going to be a good one, Jay!”
Jay Walker: “You bet it is, Ray! We’ve got Thaddeus Duke and Ken Davison teaming up tonight against the high-flying Velocity Vibes! But there’s more on the line than just bragging rights. Remember, Duke and Davison are set to meet at Ascension for the AAW United States Championship. It’ll be interesting to see if they can coexist tonight!”
*BELL RINGS*
The bell rings, and the match is underway as Thaddeus Duke and Travis Page start things off for their respective teams. They circle each other, and the fans are on their feet, eager for the action to unfold. Thaddeus Duke, ever the technician, initiates with a collar-and-elbow tie-up, pushing Travis into the ropes before whipping him across the ring. Travis rebounds, ducking a clothesline attempt from Thad, and returns with a quick snap suplex that sends Duke sprawling onto the mat. Thaddeus quickly rolls to his feet, a smirk forming on his face as if to say, “Okay, game on.”
Ray Carter: “Travis Page showing he’s not intimidated by Thad Duke’s reputation one bit!”
Jay Walker: “Not at all! Velocity Vibes aren’t here to be anyone’s stepping stone.”
Duke responds with a beautiful dropkick that lands square on Travis’ chest, sending him reeling into his corner. Without wasting any time, Travis tags in Flash Riley, and the crowd roars as the masked high-flyer leaps over the top rope, full of energy. Flash immediately uses his speed to dodge Duke’s attempts to grab him, bouncing off the ropes and delivering a lightning-fast hurricanrana that sends Duke flipping across the ring. He doesn’t stop there, running to the ropes and springboarding into a crossbody, flattening Thaddeus once again for the first cover of the match.

Duke kicks out with authority, but Flash isn’t slowing down. He drags Thad to his feet and attempts to whip him into the corner, but Thad reverses it, sending Flash crashing into his own corner instead. Seeing the opportunity, Ken Davison slaps Duke on the back for the blind tag.
Ray Carter: “Ken Davison tags himself in! You have to wonder if Duke is going to be okay with that.”
Ken charges into the ring and immediately asserts himself, hammering Flash with a series of brutal forearm shots to the back. He scoops him up and drops him with a devastating pendulum backbreaker, driving his knee into Flash’s spine. The pain on Flash’s face is evident, but Davison doesn’t let up. He follows up with a hard dragon screw leg whip, slowing the high-flyer down even further.
Jay Walker: “Ken Davison is methodical in his attacks, making sure Flash Riley stays grounded.”
Ken signals for more damage, lifting Flash into position for a tombstone piledriver. However, Travis Page rushes in to break it up, nailing Ken with a running knee strike to the head. The crowd explodes with excitement as Flash rolls away, trying to catch his breath. Both teams make the tag, and now it’s Thaddeus Duke and Travis Page squaring off once again. Thad quickly gets the upper hand with his speed, hitting a smooth slingblade followed by a standing moonsault, the athleticism drawing a pop from the crowd. Duke doesn’t go for the cover, instead locking in a grounded hammerlock, putting pressure on Travis’ arm. Travis struggles in the submission, but he powers out by reaching the ropes. He then counters a rushing Duke with a well-timed tilt-a-whirl backbreaker, buying himself some time to get back into the fight.
Ray Carter: “It’s back-and-forth action here, neither team giving an inch!”
Travis tags in Flash, and the two set up for a double team. They hit Duke with a double superkick, sending him staggering into the ropes. Before Duke can regain his balance, Flash runs up, nailing him with his signature Flash Kick a springboard dropkick that knocks Duke flat. But before Flash can go for the pin, Ken Davison storms into the ring, dropping Flash with a snap German suplex. Travis charges in, but Ken catches him with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker of his own, showcasing his power.
With everyone down in the ring, the crowd starts buzzing as an AAW official walks down to ringside. He quickly calls Thaddeus Duke over to the ropes, whispering something in his ear.
Ray Carter: “What’s going on here? Something’s happening at ringside.”
Thaddeus’ expression changes from focused to alarmed. He nods and quickly tags Ken, though he’s visibly distracted. Without saying a word, Duke leaps out of the ring and rushes up the ramp toward the backstage area.
Jay Walker: “Wait a minute! Thad Duke just left his partner! What did that official say to him?”
Ray Carter: “Word is coming in that something happened with Duke’s son! He’s left the arena to check on him, leaving Ken Davison on his own!”
Ken looks frustrated but determined as he stands alone in the ring, facing down both members of Velocity Vibes. Flash Riley and Travis Page sense the advantage and capitalize. They double-team Davison, hitting him with their double dropkick, sending him crashing into the corner. Flash goes to the top rope for his Lightning Splash while Travis sets up for the Final Chapter, their finisher. But before they can execute, Ken rolls out of the ring to regroup.
Ray Carter: “Smart move by Davison, but he’s all alone now. Can he pull this off?”
The referee starts counting as Velocity Vibes waits for Ken to re-enter the ring. But Davison, thinking quickly, grabs Flash by the legs and yanks him to the outside, slamming him into the barricade. As Flash is laid out, Travis tries to help his partner, but the ref reaches the count of 10.
Jay Walker: “That’s it! Velocity Vibes has been counted out! Ken Davison wins the match!”
Ray Carter: “Ken Davison wins, but this match was chaotic from start to finish. Thad Duke’s sudden exit, and Davison outsmarting Velocity Vibes in the end.”
Ken stands in the middle of the ring and even though his face is masked by exhaustion, you can tell he is pissed. He walks over to the ringside attendant and drapes himself over the top rope. He extends his hand and is immediately handed a microphone. He waves his hand across his throat, asking production to cut his music.
“Godly” Ken Davison: “Listen, Velocity Vibe… yeah, I know your name. You did good, kids. But when those Tag Team Championships are up for grabs, expect to see the Mrs. and I.”
Ken nods at his opponents respectfully, taking those few moments to catch his breath.
“Godly” Ken Davison: “Hey, Duke! I appreciate your effort, but I will kindly ask that you redirect that energy somewhere else. Oh, wait. You already did that, leaving me high and dry. Stevie Wonder could see that coming and he’s blind. I didn’t think cowardice was your color, but you are making it work, girl!”
Ken looks around the audience, giving his statement time to breathe.
“Godly” Ken Davison: “Now, I’m going to head back to the locker room, get showered up so I can watch my smoking hot wife beat Koa Tautala’s ass in the main event. But, before I do that, I want each and everyone here, from all of you in the crowd to the boys and girls in the back to the janitors that clean up after the show to take a moment because this right here, is a glimpse of the future. When we get to Ascension, it’s going to be the GKD, “Godly” Ken Davison, once again standing in the middle of the ring victorious.”
As Ken raises his arm in victory, Velocity Vibes regroup in the ring, clearly frustrated by the result. But before they can even process what just happened, the arena lights flicker.
Jay Walker: “Wait a second… who are these guys?”
Out of the crowd, two figures leap over the barricade and slide into the ring The Savage Kings. The Samoan twins, covered in tribal tattoos, waste no time as they begin to pummel Flash and Travis mercilessly. The arena fills with boos as these unknown invaders unleash their assault.
Ray Carter: “These are The Savage Kings! We’ve heard about these two but they’re not signed to AAW!
Jay Walker: “They’re not signed, but they’ve invaded Impact! Look at them dismantling Velocity Vibes!”
The Savage Kings hit Flash Riley with a brutal double powerbomb before turning their attention to Travis Page. One of the twins hoists Travis up into the air and drops him with a sickening spinebuster, while the other lands a splash from the top rope, flattening him. As the beating continues, security floods the ring, but The Savage Kings fight them off for a moment before local police officers rush in to help. Eventually, the invaders are escorted out, shouting in Samoan as they’re dragged from the arena.
Ray Carter: “Unbelievable! The Savage Kings just laid waste to Velocity Vibes, and now they’re being taken out by security and the police!”
Jay Walker: “Who sent them here? What do they want? These are dangerous men, and AAW needs to figure out what’s going on!”
As the chaos subsides, the camera lingers on the wreckage in the ring, with Flash Riley and Travis Page slowly recovering from the brutal ambush.
Ray Carter: “A wild, wild night here at Friday Night Impact! Who knows what else is going to happen in AAW?”
The show cuts to a commercial as the fans buzz with excitement and confusion, wondering what the future holds after this shocking invasion.
SEGMENT
The backstage area of the Crypto.com Arena is a chaotic mess as The Savage Kings, Toa and Keanu Manu, two towering Samoan twins, are being escorted toward the exit by a group of security personnel. Their imposing presence looms over everyone, and the arena is buzzing from the vicious assault they just delivered to Velocity Vibes moments ago. The Savage Kings aren’t resisting, but they’re clearly angry as they walk down the hallway, their eyes scanning the surroundings for anyone daring enough to approach. Suddenly, Shaun Hart, the General Manager of AAW, struts into the scene with a stern look on his face, followed by the head of security. The AAW staff and other wrestlers in the hallway stop to watch as the tension escalates. Shaun, dressed in a sharp suit with his signature arrogant swagger, approaches The Savage Kings, his eyes narrowing in disbelief at their audacity.
Shaun Hart: (sarcastically clapping his hands) “Well, well, well… Who the hell do you two think you are, barging into my arena and causing chaos? You think you can just walk into AAW and jump our talent like some thugs off the street?”
Toa steps forward, his eyes locked on Shaun with a cold intensity, while Keanu stands beside him, arms crossed, exuding a threatening presence.
Toa Manu: “We’re TSK.”
Shaun Hart: (mockingly) “TSK? What the hell is that supposed to mean? Some kind of gang or something?”
Keanu leans in closer, towering over Shaun, clearly irritated by the disrespect.
Keanu Manu: “It means we’re The Savage Kings. And you need to put some respect on our name. We’re here to run your tag division. So go ahead, sign us up, and we’ll make this place ours.”
Shaun chuckles, shaking his head, clearly unimpressed. He takes a step back, looking both twins up and down before folding his arms.
Shaun Hart: “Oh, I know exactly who you are. You two have quite the reputation. Tristian King, the owner of this company, already warned me about you. And let me tell you, it’s not a good one. Word is, you guys are nothing but trouble. Too hard to deal with, too uncontrollable. So, no. There won’t be any contracts for you. Not here. Not in AAW.”
Toa and Keanu bristle with fury at Shaun’s words, their massive forms tense as they glare at him. Toa clenches his fists, clearly itching to throw a punch, but they manage to hold back. For now.
Toa Manu: (gritting his teeth) “You’re making a mistake. You’re gonna regret this.”
Keanu Manu: “You’ll be sorry, Hart. AAW will be sorry. The Savage Kings don’t just ask to join. We take what we want.”
Shaun smirks, seemingly unconcerned by their threats. He turns on his heel, walking away with an air of smug superiority, while the security guards continue ushering Toa and Keanu toward the exit.
Shaun Hart: (over his shoulder) “Good luck with that, boys. We don’t need your kind here.”
As Shaun disappears down the hallway, The Savage Kings exchange one more heated look, their eyes burning with fury. Toa slams his fist into the wall, leaving a deep dent, while Keanu shakes his head in frustration. They allow the security team to escort them out of the building, but the message they leave behind is clear: The Savage Kings aren’t done with AAW.
As they vanish from the arena, the camera zooms in on the damage left behind from their punch, a reminder that this won’t be the last AAW sees of Toa and Keanu Manu.

SUMMER PAGE is in her locker room, still riding the high from her recent victory over ANTHONY KING. She is smiling and adjusting her hair in the mirror, reveling in the cheers she received from the crowd.
SUMMER: That was amazing! I really showed them tonight!”
As she gathers her belongings and prepares to leave, she notices a small, creepy wind-up clown toy sitting on her bench. Its chipped paint and unsettling grin immediately catch her off guard. She approaches the toy cautiously, a frown forming on her face. Suddenly, the toy springs to life, winding up and playing a distorted melody. Its voice echoes eerily throughout the locker room.
TOY: He just wants to be your friend! Don’t be so rude!
Startled, Summer jumps back, her heart racing. She looks around the empty locker room, puzzled and slightly unnerved.
SUMMER: What the hell is this?”
With growing irritation, she grabs the toy and holds it up, shaking her head in disbelief.
SUMMER: I don’t need creepy toys or friends like you!”
In a fit of frustration, she tosses the clown toy across the room, where it lands with a thud. Summer takes a deep breath, trying to calm herself. As she turns to leave the locker room, the lights flicker ominously. In the dim light, she catches a glimpse of red eyes watching her from a dark corner of the room. They glimmer briefly before disappearing, leaving her feeling uneasy.
Summer pauses for a moment, looking back in confusion.
SUMMER: Must be my imagination…”
She quickly shakes off the feeling and strides out of the locker room, determination on her face but uncertainty in her heart.

Special Enforcer: Axel Shaw
Standard Singles Match
Kyra Davison vs Koa "The Destroyer" Tautala
Jazmine Sparks: “Ladies and gentlemen, it’s time for your main event of the evening! Introducing first, from Baltimore, Maryland, weighing in at 143 pounds… KYRA ‘THE JAWDROPPER’ DAVISON!”
The crowd explodes as the sound of “Mz. Hyde” by Halestorm rips through the arena. Kyra Davison strides out with confidence, a playful grin on her lips and a bottle of Jack Daniels in hand. She high-fives the fans along the way, feeding off the energy from the packed Crypto.com Arena. The fans cheer as she slides into the ring, taking a swig from the whiskey bottle before setting it down in the corner. She hops onto the turnbuckle, raising her fists to the sky, ready for the war ahead.
Ray Carter: “Kyra Davison is as tough as they come, and tonight, she’s got a lot to prove. But don’t forget, Koa Tautala has made it very clear he blames Kyra for his loss in the World Championship match, and tonight he’s out for revenge.”
Jay Walker: “Not to mention, we’ve got Axel Shaw out here as the special enforcer. He’s keeping things clean tonight, and with Kyra and Axel set to clash at Ascension, you’ve got to wonder if any of that tension is going to boil over in this match.”
Jazmine Sparks: “And her opponent, from San Francisco, California, weighing in at 279 pounds… KOA ‘THE DESTROYER’ TAUTALA!”
The arena goes dark as the heavy riff of “Roots Bloody Roots” by Sepultura reverberates through the venue. A red spotlight focuses on the stage as Koa Tautala emerges, his face painted with menacing Samoan tribal markings, draped in a traditional lava-lava. The Destroyer marches toward the ring, eyes locked on Kyra, a cold fury radiating from him as he throws off his lava-lava and paces like a predator, ready to strike.
Jay Walker: “Koa is a monster of a man. He’s big, strong, and dangerous, and with that chip on his shoulder after losing his shot at the World Championship, he’s going to try to destroy Kyra tonight.”
Ray Carter: “And don’t forget, Koa has a history of using weapons, but with Axel Shaw as the special enforcer tonight, you can bet Koa’s going to have to keep things fair or at least try to.”
*BELL RINGS*
The bell rings, and the main event is officially underway. Kyra and Koa circle each other, tension thick in the air as the Los Angeles crowd roars in anticipation.
Jay Walker: “This match is going to be physical. Both of these athletes are known for their hard-hitting styles, and there’s no love lost between them.”
Koa charges in first, looking to overwhelm Kyra with his size and power, but Kyra is quick on her feet, ducking under a wild punch. She counters with a sharp kick to Koa’s thigh, followed by another, and another. Koa grimaces but powers through, swinging a brutal knife-edge chop that echoes through the arena as it connects with Kyra’s chest.
Ray Carter: “You can hear that chop from the rafters! Koa’s laying into Kyra early, trying to use his power to wear her down.”
Kyra stumbles back from the impact, but she’s not backing down. She charges forward, leaping into the air with a running superkick that smashes into Koa’s jaw. The crowd pops as Koa staggers, but he doesn’t fall. Instead, he catches Kyra mid-air on her next attempt, lifting her up for a spinebuster!
Jay Walker: “What a counter by Koa! He just planted Kyra with that spinebuster, and the momentum shifts back to The Destroyer.”
Koa wastes no time, pulling Kyra to her feet and throwing her into the corner. He follows up with stiff kicks to her chest, each one harder than the last. Kyra winces in pain but fights back with elbows to Koa’s head. She ducks out of the corner, grabbing Koa’s arm and flipping him over with a beautiful float-over DDT!
Ray Carter: “Kyra’s showing why she’s one of the toughest competitors in the game! That was picture-perfect.”
Koa rolls to the outside, clearly rattled by Kyra’s resilience. He grabs the ring apron, eyes scanning for a weapon. He spots a steel chair and reaches for it—
Jay Walker: “Oh no, Koa’s looking for trouble.”
but Axel Shaw steps in, grabbing the chair out of Koa’s hand before he can use it. The crowd erupts as Axel and Koa have a tense stare-down.
Ray Carter: “Axel Shaw doing exactly what he’s here for, keeping this match clean. But you can feel the heat between him and Koa!”
Koa snarls, pushing Axel’s chest, but Axel doesn’t flinch. He points back to the ring, signaling Koa to get back inside. Koa reluctantly obeys, rolling back in, where Kyra is waiting with a barrage of rapid punches.
The next few minutes are a hard-hitting back-and-forth. Kyra uses her speed and technical prowess to keep Koa on the defensive, but every time she starts to gain momentum, Koa cuts her off with brutal power moves like a Samoan Drop and belly-to-belly suplex. At one point, Koa attempts to lock Kyra in a crossface, but she fights out of it, scrambling to her feet. Koa goes for a discus clothesline, but Kyra ducks under, grabbing his arm and transitioning into a crucifix head scissor takedown! The crowd is on their feet as Kyra tries to keep the big man grounded, targeting his arms and neck with submission holds. Koa fights through the pain, eventually using his raw strength to break free and lift Kyra into the air for a powerbomb but Kyra reverses it into a hurricanrana!
Jay Walker: “Incredible athleticism from Kyra Davison! She’s taking it to Koa, no fear whatsoever!”
Koa, clearly frustrated, rolls out of the ring again, this time looking under the apron for a kendo stick. He finds one and turns back toward the ring, but Axel Shaw is there once again, yanking the weapon away from Koa.
Ray Carter: “Axel Shaw is not letting Koa get away with anything tonight! Every time Koa tries to cheat, Axel is right there to stop him.”
Koa, enraged, shoves Axel harder this time, getting in his face. Axel glares at him, but before things can escalate, Kyra flies through the ropes with a suicide dive, crashing into Koa and sending both men into the barricade!
Jay Walker: “Kyra Davison putting her body on the line! She’s not letting Koa bully her tonight.”
The match continues to intensify, with both competitors pushing themselves to the limit. Kyra tries to wear down Koa with stiff uppercuts and a running superkick, but Koa’s sheer power keeps him in the fight. He slams Kyra into the mat with a massive powerbomb, going for the pin.

Koa, furious, pulls Kyra up by the hair and sets her up for a Samoan Drop, but Kyra fights out, landing on her feet. She catches Koa with a spinning heel kick, stunning him. With Koa momentarily dazed, Kyra seizes the opportunity and signals for her finisher—the Jaw Dropper (Widow’s Peak)!
Ray Carter: “This could be it! Kyra’s going for the Jaw Dropper!”
Kyra lifts Koa onto her shoulders, displaying impressive strength as she sets him up for the devastating move. With a fierce yell, she drops him face-first into the mat! The crowd erupts as Kyra goes for the cover.

The bell rings, and the arena explodes in cheers as Kyra Davison is declared the winner.
Jazmine Sparks: “Your winner, KYRA DAVISON!”
Kyra stands tall in the ring, catching her breath as the referee raises her hand. But before she can celebrate for long, Axel Shaw steps into the ring, microphone in hand, his eyes locked on Kyra. The crowd buzzes in anticipation as Axel begins to speak.
Axel Shaw: “Kyra… I’ve worked my ass off for this World Championship. I’ve bled, I’ve sacrificed, and I’ve fought harder than anyone else in this company to get where I am. And now, at Ascension, you want to take it from me?”
Axel paces around Kyra, the intensity in his voice building.
Axel Shaw: “I had to claw my way to the top, through politics, through betrayals, through every obstacle they threw at me. But I’m still standing here, the AAW World Champion. And let me tell you something, Kyra I’m not letting this reign come to an end, not now, not ever.”
Kyra steps closer, staring Axel down, showing no fear.
Axel Shaw: “I respect you, Kyra, but respect doesn’t mean I’m going to go easy on you. At Ascension, you’ll be facing the best version of Axel Shaw. And when the dust settles, I’m going to walk out of there still your World Champion.”
After Axel finishes his intense speech, Kyra walks over, snatches the microphone from his hand, and the crowd roars in anticipation of her response. Kyra, breathing heavily from the hard-fought match, takes a moment to collect herself before speaking.
Kyra Davison: “You think you’re the only one who’s had to sacrifice, Axel? You think you’re the only one who’s clawed your way to the top? Let me tell you something honey, you’re not special. I had a career, I had momentum, and I gave it all up for my family. I sacrificed every chance I had at gold, every opportunity to be standing where you are, to be a mother and a wife. And you know what? I’d do it all over again.”
The crowd cheers, sensing the passion in Kyra’s voice.
Kyra Davison: “But now… now I don’t have to choose. At Ascension, I’m going to reach the top of that mountain. I’m going to take that championship that you hold so dear, and you’re going to find out first hand why they call me ‘The Jawdropper.’”
Kyra stares Axel down with fierce determination, then drops the microphone with a loud thud. The crowd is electric as the two lock eyes, the tension at a boiling point. Axel slowly raises the AAW World Championship high above his head, never breaking eye contact with Kyra. The fans are on their feet, sensing the significance of the moment.
Ray Carter: “Kyra Davison just laid it all out! She’s ready to take Axel Shaw’s title at Ascension, and there’s no backing down from either of them.”
Jay Walker: “This is going to be an all-out war at Ascension! These two are ready to tear the house down.”
Just as the show seems to be closing out, the camera shifts to the skybox high above the arena, where we see Just Cause standing ominously, watching the ring below. His eyes are locked on Axel and Kyra, the tension in the arena thickening even more.
Ray Carter: “Wait a minute… what’s this? Just Cause is watching from above.
Jay Walker: “This just got a lot more interesting! Just Cause has his eyes on the main event scene, and you know he's got his eyes set on the World Title.
The show fades to black as the camera lingers on Just Cause’s cold, calculating expressions, setting the stage for an explosive confrontation at Ascension.
